DGC's mission includes helping to improve energy efficiency
and environmental optimization in connection with gas utilization
by providing consulting services based on advanced knowledge
of combustion chemistry and processes and the use of modern
computing tools and computer modelling.
DGC has a thorough knowledge of the properties of Danish
natural gas, including its composition, calorific value, Wobbe
Number, explosion limits, autoignition, odorant conditions,
liquid content, and impurities. This is the basis of DGCs
consulting services concerning the effect of gas quality on
the combustion process. DGC attaches importance to having
the best possible expertise concerning combustion chemistry,
heat transmission and all other aspects of the interaction
between the combustion process and the surrounding equipment.
For analyses, DGC uses specialised software and mathematical
modelling of flow and combustion chemistry. The use of PC
modelling saves both time and money in connection with the
design and optimisation of burners, ovens, furnaces and
other equipment.
DGC participates in international research collaboration
and conferences, thereby constantly gaining new knowledge
in this field.
