DGC's mission includes promoting the use of natural gas
in industry through utilization of the special properties
that enable gas to be used directly in many processes
The chemical and combustion properties of gas mean that,
unlike coal and oil, for example, gas can often be used
directly in industrial processes with significant economic
and environmental advantages.
DGC assists in the development of solutions for special
industrial applications through analysis, simulation, testing,
measurement and demonstration.
DGC’s staff has considerable experience in the development
of gas solutions for a wide range of industrial processes,
including drying, cooling, heating of liquids, hardening,
baking, burning and other forms of heat treatment.
DGC develops, adapts, optimises and tests gas burners for
a wide range of purposes in different types of boilers and
furnaces, including co-firing – with coal, for example.
DGC maintains a database on industrial burners and always
has updated knowledge concerning the best solutions, also
thanks to cooperation and exchange of knowledge with international
partners.
